BlackBox Music & Arts Pilot Microschool is a small, private, arts-integrated learning program serving students ages 7–11. Our microschool offers a creative, project-based educational experience in a supportive, small-group environment.

Instruction integrates:

  • Language arts

  • Applied mathematics

  • Music and visual arts

  • Performance and creative projects

The program operates as a private microschool and uses portfolio-based assessment rather than standardized testing. Enrollment is intentionally limited to support individualized learning and meaningful relationships.

BlackBox Music & Arts Microschool is building toward private school accreditation and future participation in education choice programs, including education savings accounts (ESA), as permitted by Texas law.

At BlackBox Music & Arts, we believe that every child deserves access to a high-quality music and arts program as part of a well-rounded education, essential for every students’ social and emotional well-being. In school classes include: Music, Voice, Art and Drama for Grades K-5
