Spring Break Art, Music & Acting Camp for Kids in San Antonio (Ages 5–14)
We do not charge a registration fee for camps.

BlackBox Music & Arts offers a creative arts spring break camp for kids in San Antonio featuring music, theater, art, and performance activities. Camps are designed for children ages 5–14 and run daily from 9:00 am–4:00 pm.

Music and Arts Adventure Camp - Ages 5 to 12
We do not charge a registration fee for camps.
CHOOSE MUSIC or ART or BOTH.
Campers participate in music and art activities each day, exploring various musical instruments, including drums, piano, ukulele, and guitar, and building foundational vocal skills like pitch and rhythm through the joy of singing in harmony with their friends to their favorite tunes. By adding a splash of paint and encouraging creative expression, along with fun games and laughter, we create a memorable camp experience for everyone.
ART
Students work with acrylic, watercolor, pastels, colored pencil, mixed media and textiles. Each student will approach daily projects at their own level of skill and ability. Fun-filled day of no-pressure creativity. A small art show will held on Friday.
INTRO TO MUSIC
Students will be introduced to various genres and multiple instruments, including Ukulele, Guitar, Electric Drums, Drum Circles, Percussion, Piano and music theory throughout the week.
End of SESSION ART SHOW AND PERFORMANCE EVENTS: 4 pm to 5 pm
Classes run Monday, March 9th, through Friday, March 13th.
Art: 9 am 12 pm
Music: 1 pm to 4 pm
Both Sessions: 9 am to 4pm
Optional Paid Add- Ons:
Early drop-off (8–9 AM)
Supervised lunch hour (12–1 PM, bring your own lunch) - included for full-day campers
After care (4–5 PM)
Please bring a refillable water bottle, a sack lunch, and 2 snacks daily.
TUITION: The tuition listed applies to the first student. When registering two or more students, a 5% savings will be applied to each student enrolled (equaling a 10% sibling discount) All supplies are included unless otherwise noted.
Looking for an Acting Camp or Theatre Camp in San Antonio, ages 8 to 14 - You found it!
We do not charge a registration fee for camps.
CHOOSE FILM & ACTING or STAGE ACTING or BOTH.
Calling all future performers! In this energetic and interactive camp, young actors will build confidence, creativity, stage and camera presence while learning the fundamentals of acting.
- Campers will learn how to project their voices clearly and confidently
- Character development
- Where to look, when to pause, and how to stay focused
- How to incorporate movement and expression into performances
- Performance and behind-the-scenes techniques
- Fun theatre activities like storytelling, improvisation, script analysis, and memorization
- Have fun imagining, writing, and becoming a film star in your own creation!

Customize your child's camp experience:
Ages 5 to 14. Keep your child’s body, mind, and soul active with immersive adventures in Music, Voice, Acting, and Art!
Our camps allow you to customize your experience: Combine multiple classes 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours sessions from 9 AM to 4 PM for a fully personalized creative journey.
Morning classes 9 am to 12 pm
Supervised BYO Lunch: 12 pm to 1 pm
Afternoon classes: 1 pm – 4 pm
Directed Projects: Guided art, music, and drama activities designed to inspire creativity and build confidence.
Studio Free Time: Campers enjoy games, movies, and/or independent art-making in a relaxed studio setting.
Open Studio Access: The art room remains available throughout the day for those who prefer to continue creating.
Outdoor Play: Supervised outdoor free time (weather permitting) provides balance and fresh air.
Although we offer a variety of subjects during camps, not all subjects are presented at every camp. Some classes are available for ages 15–17. We also offer weekly group and private evening classes.
